Happy Friday, Rounge

Let's get crunk.

Tonight I will be drinking sake (having Japanese cuisine for dinner), beers, and possibly some kind of shots -- Crown and peach has been a favorite lately. You??

  1. This explains why Changa was late for his interview - so hard to get the booze out of those baby bottles.

Should the roungetable feature RaGeCaGe Fridays where a new cocktail is proposed and tried over the weekend, with in depth post trade on Monday morning?

We'd have to limit this to commonly available pantry/fridge items, and should strive to push the boundaries of conventional taste, like Lupa and his Brawn papertowel man fetish.

  2. I have a drink of the month at the batcave (last month was espresso martinis, but there's a lot left after the 3rd reload so I am yet to move on). How about a rounge drink of the month? Dark & Stormies?

Also, RageCage should have Raggae nights...RaggaeCaggae.

On a third and final note, SMIF.

  3. Dark &Stormy it is for this weekend, but I kind of like the doing the RaGeCaGe every weekend, rather than once a month, so that there's always an interesting thread waiting on Monday, which is normal the day I want to SMIF most of all.

Also, if you've never tried a Crown Royal & Peach Schnapps shot (Crown 'n Peach), I implore you to do so.

  4. i didn't have any dark or stormies, poof. i did have hendrick's and tonic with fresh muddled cucumber. It was refreshing and crisp and 11:45 AM on saturday. Unfortunately the tonic water was a bit sweet, almost syrupy. I think it was Canada Dry and had been in the fridge for at least a month or two (unopened). Does tonic decay? What is the best tonic water anyway?

  5. Dark and stormy was a superior choice - I had a couple this weekend without even knowing that the rounge had nominated it as the drink of the weekend.

q tonic, best tonic. schweppes is better than canada dry.
