Now that Fall is damn near upon us, I think it's time to bring back the Manhattan (with Woodford Reserve). Any thoughts/objections?

i support the manhatter. i will be in memphis this weekend, so after the first manhattan i might switch to old fashioneds, as a slight variation on the manhattan that has a little more regional prominence in that area of the country. then again, in memphis, people prefer sippin' on syzurp to sippin on martinis.

Queso... are you willing to put your money where your bll was? I think we can each throw in $100 to send you to the Caribbean for you to realize that is an exaggeration.
ReplyDeleteOh, but yes, I'll definitely have a Manhattan this weekend if I find myself in the right setting. For some reason whenever I order a martini or the like, someone like KB comes back as I'm finishing it and says "I got you a can of High Life".
